Entry fee $1 per nomination. Juvenile print entry is free

Prize money:

Champion Open Section $30 Voucher 1 Hour Photo Shop

Champion Juvenile Section $25 Voucher 1 Hour Photo Shop

Special Open Section 1st Prize $50   2nd Prize $30   3rd $20


  1. Entries close Friday 8th February 2013
    Accepted at QCWA Rooms Heeney Street Chinchilla (next door to RSL) Friday 8th February 2013 between 8.30 am - 2pm
    Or can be mailed to QCWA   P.O. Box 258   Chinchilla 4413by 8th February 2013
  2. Entries not to have been shown in previous QCWA Melon Fest Photography competition in Chinchilla
  3. Photos to have been taken over past 2 years
  4. All photos to be original and to be entered in the name of the photographer          
  5. Limit of four entries per exhibitor in each class, unless stated
  6. Name and address on the back of each entry
  7. All prints to be mounted on light weight black cardboard with approximately a 2cm border
  8. Photographs may be collected from rooms between 4pm-5pm Saturday 16th February 2013
  9. Photo - Colour or Black and White 6in x 4in (15cm x 10cm) or 5in x 7in (18cm x 13cm)

  1. MELON THEME
  2. WATER SCENE
  3. SET OF THREE PHOTOS to be displayed on one sheet of cardboard. (Any subject. One entry per competitor)
  4. WESTERN DOWNS STRUCTURE (Streetscape, architecture etc)
  5. PEOPLE, PERSON OR PERSONS (any age, not portrait)
  6. ANY OTHER SUBJECT

JUVENILE SECTION

(Grade 12 and under,  NO ENTRY FEE)

  1. MELON THEME
  2. MY HOME TOWN

SPECIAL OPEN SECTION
